Odds are written in three different ways: decimal, fractional and American. All three express the same value differently. Below are two worked examples to explain how they work.
Example 1 — Team A to win (৳1,000 bet)

If you win you get back ৳1,800 (৳800 profit). American minus odds show how much you need to bet to make ৳100 profit (in this case ৳125).
How multi bet odds work
Say you bet on three separate matches with odds of 1.50, 1.80 and 1.90. Multiply them together: 1.50 × 1.80 × 1.90 = 5.13 (approximately). So a ৳100 bet — if all three win — returns ৳513. But if any one of the three loses, the full ৳100 is gone. A multi bet offers higher returns but every selection must win.
Odds Shift When Wickets Fall — In-Play Betting
Live betting is one of the most engaging parts of cricket — odds update continuously as the match progresses. When a wicket falls, a big six is hit or rain stops play, the odds change immediately.
Say Team A has scored 85 runs in 10 overs for 2 wickets. Their chances of winning may have improved at that point — so their odds will shorten and Team B's odds will lengthen. In live betting you can make your decision at exactly that moment.

The batting team's odds lengthen and the bowling team's shorten. Wickets are more valuable later in the innings.
After the powerplay
The gap between the run rate and the required run rate after the first six overs influences the odds.
